Disney themed Wedding Cake
We are really struggling to come to a decision about our wedding cake and would be really grateful for any ideas, etc.
We are having our wedding here in norfolk in a barn with a disney theme. We have googled many times disney wedding cakes but still don't know what to do?! We know the cake will have to be 4 tiers for the number of guests we have but otherwise we are open to any ideas. We have booked a fantastic lady so is capable of anything. We want it disney themed but not to look like a children's birthday cake. Has anyone got any photos they can share what they had or arehavi g please or any ideas? Thanks in advance x

How about a topsy turvy cake, where all the tiers are wonky and different sizes, it could be decorated to be a Mad Hatter cake. Or if you fancied something a bit more subtle, I think this kind of pattern disneystore/disney-...55040/1315002/ would look nice piped onto a plain white cake

Or how about silhouettes of the characters cut out in coloured fondant, again on a plain white/ivory cake?

If you google disney wedding cakes and go to images, there is loads of designs- none look like a birthday cake

Don't feel pressured in to having a four tier cake due the amount of guests. We had a lot of guests but still had a three tier cake but in the kitchen we had an additional cutting cake (which just happened to be my favourite chocolate cake)

I am rubbish at putting photos in to posts.
The picture above is our Son and Daughter in Laws Cake. They were married at our Florida families beach house hence the sea shells. They are made out of chocolate and the lady also put lots of tiny white chocolate hidden mickeys on it. The topper is a Lenox collectible all arranged by our niece and her husband. Alison |

That's a beautiful cake Alison Op I think something like this cake, without the shells as your wedding isn't a beach / sea theme, would be great!

We are having a 3 tier cake with a mickey and Minnie bride and groom on top (it is actually a salt and pepper pot but you cant tell), then we are different sized black mickey heads in a "S" shaped down the front, quite simple but effective,

Here is our cake we had a 3 tier mad hatter cake in our wedding colours with little mickey heads where the lines crossed on the quilted tiers (? If that's the right name for that effect on the top and bottom tier but that's what I called it lol)
