We did a few days at CBR last month and are staying at OKW next time. Not a chance I would pay more to downgrade the resort and dining plan.
I was in a pirate room and it was quite a trek to get to the main hotel facilities and I don’t think it wouldn’t have been particularly convenient for the Skyliner either, although I didn’t check as this was just before it opened. I haven’t stayed at one of the sprawling resorts before, it did make me want to rethink OKW but will probably stick with it. |

These are my least two favourite resorts of all those I have stayed at but I prefer CB over OKW. That said, I’d never stay in a Pirate Room even with little kids. Location is poor, beds smaller and I don’t like the theme personally. Also to downgrade the dining plan and pay to get it back is just not a spend I’d be making. I also think the microwave and toaster in the OKW studios would be really helpful with small children. I found the bus service horrible at both and the QS dire at OKW. Add to that it’s outside and I found the drinks machines crawling with wasps and flys entering the food serving area. Made me feel sick actually.

Stick with OKW, you will love it. Send a fax to the resort before departing asking to be located near the turtle pond pool.

Having stayed at both, stick with OKW. In my opinion they have a similar vibe and you’re getting so much more for your money with OKW.

I loved OKW most out of all the resorts we have stayed in, to drop down the dining plan , you would be crazy to switch
