Any clue? Retrieving lost BT email password.

I was prompted to change my email password a couple of years ago and now I've completely forgotten it.
I have my email on a couple of devices but once they fail I'm stuffed.
When I go on the BT site that email brings me to an old closed business account and when I change the password it's only to that old business account.
Any ideas?

Your BT account is linked to an email address. I would assume if it is bringing up an old business account then this is not the email you are using for your current BT account.
I get an email every month about my bills online that I need to check so if your getting those emails check which address it’s going to.
I used my personal email for my grans account so that I can keep and eye on it for her and when I got my new BT account last year I had to use my husbands email due to me already attaching mine to my grans account.

If all else fails. Call BT tech support

I’m no help.. I have exactly the same problem! The reset needs you to input a postcode and seems to be linked to my ex- husband too 🙄

Phone them. We had hassle as both business and home with BT. Couldn’t access home account. Eventually sorted but had to phone them.
