Project 365

Is anyone here trying a Project365?

That is, try to take and post a photograph each day for a year.

I'm giving it a try; I'm posting on flickr at flickr/photos/atp/sets/72157624818613364

Why do this? It's a great challenge, and encourages you to look for photographs where you might ordinarily not bother. I think it can help you "see" pictures where you might not have seen them before, and probably encourages you to take styles of pictures you might not have tried.

I'd love to hear fom anyone else who has tried this. I'm currently on day 140... there's a long way to go!

I would love to but when I tried an Advent challenge (the 24 days in the run up to xmas) I think I managed 8! I am doing a 52 images challenge instead but might just try the 365 if that goes ok.

Wow... of all the times in the year, I'd have thought that the 24 days leading up to Christmas must be the hardest time to do this kind of thing!

Yes it was hard! But then I rarely have a good time for taking some regular time out for photography and it is usually days out and holidays when I get a decent opportunity to practice. Even the 52 images is proving to be a struggle - this weeks topic is reflection and I am uninspired -hope I think of something by sunday!

Thats a good idea.

I did see awhile ago a guy took a photo everyday of his daughter for a few years and put them into a video, gave me an idea to try with my DD.

I've been reading about them, and I'm planning to start when it's 1 year to our holiday. So will include, red envelopes, packing etc. So should be starting April time.

Although I might just start now and get into the habit of it but not include them in my project 365

How on earth did he get his daughter to pose for a photograph every day?

If she's not in the mood for it, it's pretty close to impossible to get mine to be photographed... and my son is even worse!
