i cant really recommend any nice places to eat, we didnt go out to eat last year, alot of places were closed.
the other time we went in the summer, we ate at a restaurant, and it was terrible. i did see some nice looking restaurants along the beach though.
i think the food at the portaventura hotels is supposed to be lovely, fresh fish, meats, salads. we had a good salad selection every night, and there was always pasta as an alternative to fast food.
if you stay onsite all inclusive, i think you can eat at certain places in the park, you could look to see what they serve. there were some good restaurants around the park.

A lot of the salou area hotels do half, full board or all inclusive, which is normally edible although sometimes slightly repetitive. Ours is great and the chef comes out each night and cooks an extra dish in the restaurant, normally a lovely fish dish.
thanks, I've been looking at half board as it's about an extra £60 a night for full board at the other hotel. I guess we'll see and use trip advisor when in doubt!

We usually do FB but as we got our 50% Thomas Cook deal and they weren't doing it we're on HB, so we'll fill up for the day at breakfast and have an ice cream for lunch, althoooouuughh I've heard there's a nice Irish bar at Cap Salou
