Just had the same - due to check in at Universal's Aventura on the 20th - they have my reservation, but cannot confirm whether it has been paid, so advised me to reclaim the money from my card operator, and make a new booking.

Trouble is they have told me they have no rooms available there - despite the fact that I have a reservation!

Not the best news to receive!

I’m checking into the Aventura on the 20th thankfully booked that through Expedia. My original hotel emailed me 3 weeks ago to say they couldn’t fulfil my stay hence why I ended up booking universal hotels, I can’t take anymore bad news, it’s like it’s not meant to be 🙈

I hope you get sorted.

thought I had decent travel insurance with end supplier failure but that doesn’t appear to cover it, hopefully if Hilton have cancelled our room I can turn to credit card under section 75, although my son paid for his own room and I think he used his debit card

Going to struggle to find anything at the same price around HHN now!

I’ve used Amoma a lot and didn’t think twice about using them again!

I know what you mean! We are due to check in on the 19th Sept from Disney, Had an email yest about BA cancelling our return flight and now Amoma hasn’t paid our booking robbing scum bags 😫 oh well it could be worse and nothing is irreplaceable, just more annoying than anything 😰

Make sure you have it writing just in case they change their mind when you arrive.

I have emailed my hotel in Faro to see but not expecting it to be honoured. My CC. will cover it but the price is more now for same hotel

Called my bank just now it will take 7-10 days for the disputes team to get back to me, she said there shouldn’t be a problem in them giving me the money back just in the meantime need to get a new booking made and be out a little extra. Suppose it could be worse 🤕
