Port Orleans Riverside Room Requests

Hi All,

Staying at POR for 14 nights in Jan 2020, we have booked a Garden View room. Just been on the My Disney Experience app to make a room request but it wont let me write the request for a room in the Mansions down.

It only gives me 2 options, corner room or highest floor. Is this normally the case that you cant write your request, you just have to request one of their options?

Yes that sounds normal, you can’t write your own preference in, it is usually high floor and I think near elevators comes up sometimes too. Last month there was an option to select Martinique for my CBR stay, however I couldn’t get it to save, the selection disappeared every time I left the page.

If you are less than a party of five you increase your chances of one of these rooms as the Alligator Bayou section have the pull done fifth bed. However some of the Magnolia Bend rooms (the ones closest to the central facilities) are Royal Rooms which are a separate booking category. You can fax them. Have a look at portorleans.org I think they’ve got the number on there you can use.
