We are the same. We booked our flight to Boston last September for this August and would rather not go now.

Thanks everyone, so as I thought we are stuck with either loosing the deposit or hoping that a) BA cancel/change their amendment policy or that b) park restrictions are lifted enough to make it worthwhile going.

Oh well, we will continue with the waiting game.

We would be happy to accept a voucher however as you mention these are only for those who booked after the dates in march?! Seems unfair to me and i hope with everything that as time goes on british airways will amend the policy to make it fairer to those who booked early...
i booked my flights for this july last august and claimed a voucher yesterday which took ten minutes to arrive by email and i have allready rebooked for next may.

@louisjake1 British Airways are granting vouchers for travelling up until 31st July, on this thread we are all travelling after this date so vouchers at the moment are not being granted...

@AndyGB I am hoping that once there is more development on quarantines/tests/US border and things become clearer, BA will update their policies to include those who booked prior to March for later on in the year. Surely theres going to be alot of unhappy people on their hands who booked before March time that are being treated unfairly.

We booked last September for travel in August, we won’t be going but just going to wait to see if we could get our deposit back by voucher.

exactly the same situation - flights booked 18th august to new yourk, returnign from toronto

we've decided we're definitely not going - especially with the current situation in new york.

i applied for a voucher & was informed not eligible as booked last year - so just a waiting game at the minute.

my only hope is that the flights are from gatwick & if they move them to heathrow that would constitute a major schedule change so could get a full refund - otherwise i'll be cancelling & getting refund of taxes only

rather that than go on a holiday which i feel would be unsafe & also huge restrictions on what we could do

xx

There’s quite a few of us. I booked in January, flight and Disney hotel for Oct, paid in full at the time. No idea why they are letting people who booked after March make amendments and not those before.
