I've just emailed asking if cancellation fees are going to be waived now, as there is no longer a specified date on the website. I'll let you know if they get back to me, but I imagine with the amount of emails they're getting it'll be quite a while before I get a reply.

It’s all such a mess! Hopefully we will learn more as the days go on but for now I’m out. Will wait to see about any discount on future bookings and way things up again then.

Is this through Disney direct ?
I spoke on the phone yesterday and they are waiving all costs for August cancellations

I've just read on an American FB page that the 35% discount is for future bookings only for people who rescheduled with the brief free dining offer they had. If they don't want to reschedule again they can have refunds.

At the moment it just says they’re cancelled ’through the end of the year’.

Cancellations until 26th Sept 2021 apparently. Doesn’t mean new packages won’t be offered for 2021 but they are just clearing out systems to adapt to new protocols. More info here: disneyfoodblog/2020/...-reservations/

Excited about Disney

I guess we need to wait and see what comes out for UK guests.
We're due to stay in CSR for 10nts from 3 Oct with the free QSDP and then 2nts at Pop and up to now had been truly hopeful that the trip would go ahead but now I'm not so sure. I simply will not stay onsite without free dining and the loss of fastpass seems a major blow as well... although if the parks are as empty as they sound like they're gonna be, maybe that in itself wont be too much of an issue. Will be waiting with interest for more news.

Wow! You can’t actually book anything on Disneyworlds site until Jan 2021!
Didn’t see that one coming Maybe they will honour ones that have already booked for later in the year and it’s to limit numbers Edited at 09:33 AM. |
