Same! It's been setback after setback for us after losing our original TC flights, then Covid came along (we should be in Orlando now).
Absolute nightmare

I’ve still got our Christmas holiday booked with VH flying from Manchester but I gambled on not cancelling it and booking another for the end of August next year as a reasonable deal came up which would have offset the difference in my deposit that I paid and the costs of altering the booking for 4 people - so like Noodle I’ll hold off doing anything with the Christmas booking

I keep seeing cryptic tweets about virgin and BA so I think something is about to happen and maybe a whole load of redundancies

Although it COULD be true, it's never wise to believe a call centre bod. They're too low down to have up to date info and they'll tend to make things up to support whatever they can/can't do on the system at that time.

They've changed flight bookings from Man from 747 to A330, why go to the bother if they were going to just cancel them all anyway?

plus they have all these bookings from man/gatwich/heathrow and they aren't going to be able to cram them all into heathrow.

Perhaps they're not taking any NEW bookings because the planes are all full with people who have rebooked from earlier in the year?

Anyway, not saying it's impossible, I don't know but I'll wait until an official announcement before I believe it

I can’t say I’m surprised, I’ve been asking about Glasgow flights for weeks as due to fly 4 September and the silence has been deafening. Just be honest with us instead of stringing us along please. Not much to ask really ☹️

I spoke to Virgin today and was told our flight was still scheduled for the 21st July from Manchester! What a nightmare!
