Definitely!
At the moment looking at doing a split stay as not going to pay OOP for dining plan so let’s us be more flexible, thinking 5 nights at Coronado, 2 at Hard Rock (Express Passes FTW), 2 at Boardwalk (I’ve wanted to stay here for ages!), then balancing out the cost with the last 5 nights at a Disney Springs Resort Area hotel. In terms of what others have been saying about reservations in 2021, hopefully they’ll be able to start gradually returning to normal through the year (ideally ready for October / November time when I’ll be booking for! ) regardless it should a lot more certain by then how it works, rather than all the uncertainty about going this year!

To everyone that is saying call them to cancel, unless I have misunderstood, but according to the email from WDW they will auto-cancel and refund in full if you do nothing by the 27th June. So if that is correct then I am wondering why people are calling to cancel?

Hi,
I have just re-read the email sent by Disney & as a room only booking, it doesn't state anywhere that I need to ring or email to cancel my booking. So unless I get lucky on the phone or my email is replied to in time, I am banking on the non-response option by 27th June & my booking will get automatically cancelled. It really shouldn't be this difficult! |

I wonder if it is different if you have a package with flights as well then? Ours is/was a room only with DDP and gift card and it states, in bold, at the end of the email:
Please note that if we do not hear from you with a decision by 27th June 2020 we will assume that you do not accept the changes and that you wish to cancel for a full refund |

Joining the discussion late and i have got through to Disney to say that we are still coming in November, after 3 hours 10 mins.
Seen different things mentioned but ours was a room only booking so i suppose quite straightforward. People have mentioned a $300 gift card, can anyone tell me what you were given that for. |

You had booked a room only with DDP and gift card but without tickets with WDTC UK/IE? How did you do that?

The person I spoke to on the phone said we didn't have the option online as we were room only and that the booking would stay live unless we told them we wanted to cancel.
