We are still aiming for August 2021. We had already booked a Disney cruise before lockdown and we have dvc points to use. Booked my universal hotel last week at the lowest price I had seen since the dates became available but will wait and see before I pay for anything that I can’t either cancel or claim on insurance.

We would like to go August 2021 after cancelling this August. However, spending this kind of money & compromising on the trip is not an option. Fall back may be a West Coast trip. However, due to all the uncertainties it might have to be late booked trip. We’ll just put money away and see what happens. I still don’t think we will be back to normal next summer so it sadly appears unlikely.

Very unsure due to the lack of communication from Disney and a lot of posts from TA’s saying no dining plans even tho they let you book and pay for them and also now that we will have to still make park reservations in 2021. The magic is very much disappearing and causing me such a headache now. We had rescheduled to April 21

Well I have booked for Sept next year, and have added QSDP as the website allowed me to do that and it is showing on my confirmation invoice. If they decide to take it away, then they will have to refund me anyway and it will become part of my food pot. As for reservations if that's how it is I will do what I have to. There's a lot of water to flow under the bridge in the next 14 months

Just seems you will have to pay for the tickets in full now (or before the August deadline)

No indication from Disney that it is the case at all, but then my booking is done and dusted before the commencement of the "special period" on Seot 27th 2021. As I said the invoice confirmation is all as normal with no indication of that at all. Have checked the detailed conditions and there is nothing that says the tickets have to be paid seperately and balance due as normal in July next year. It is booked direct not through a TA

You are going twice. You're not going this year. Many people don't go every year, I suspect that's most people.
