I think it's possible that it will be in conjunction with a travel ban from out of state. In fact isn't that the case right now, at least from certain states?

Feel sorry for all the people who have been desperately trying to book their park slots today, only to hear this information this afternoon. Pretty poor timing on VA part, especially for their VH customers. This would have been more helpful to know yesterday, before people wasted time booking slots they now cant use
I know, it’s got to be hard on those that have spent hours trying to get tickets, but I have a feeling that this time VA/VH can’t be blamed. If they’ve only just had notification from CDC, but why aren’t there posts from other airlines?
Surely if VA can’t fly then neither can any other carriers.

It was quite possibly what they had been given the heads up from the authorities to do, BEFORE the bad news about new cases.

Yes that is the case now - but I spose what I mean is they are not flying direct to Orlando but flying indirect there - if that would be OK (I assume the 2nd flight would be delta opperated) Orlando may be open as an airport - just virgin aren't flying there direct.

We never fly direct, always indirect - so I imagine if travel to the US is OK, then flying indirect will be too.

Yes if the ban is lifted indirect will be okay. There are a few routes from Europe to the US already axed totally or until 2021 so for many cities the only access will be indirect for a while.

Yeah understandable. We understand not everyone wants to go indirect, but it works for us.

Hopefully we can just go via New York (or BA may still fly!)
