Have they though? This is what I have read on their site

All holidays to Florida due to depart on or before 30 November 2020

and on the other hand:

• TUI holidays travelling on or before 10 July 2020, including flight-only bookings

Which explicitly includes flight only bookings whereas the one regarding Florida holidays does not. I have a flight only booking and I am a little bit concerned that my flight may not be cancelled

I agree, the info on the TUI website does not state flight only is included in those cancellations. It mentions ‘holidays’ ie a package solely.

I do hope flight only follows soon! Someone on a FB group said she spoke to them today and was informed at this time flight only is still going ahead as planned.

I’ve just had an email confirmation of the cancellation. Stating they will phone before 10th July and can get a full refund or voucher and rebooking incentive.

I’ll paste the important bits below

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?
As your holiday is no longer going ahead as planned, we have the below flexible options in place for you to choose from.
Amend your holiday
We’d still love to take you away on holiday to Florida or elsewhere. If you amend your holiday dates, we’ll give you an additional booking incentive of up to 10% of your original holiday cost (including theme park tickets booked at the same time as your holiday).
Receive a voucher + extra 10%
If you’d still like to travel, but you’re not sure when or where, we’ll give you a refund credit voucher for the amount you have paid for your holiday to date plus an additional booking incentive of up to 10% of the value of your holiday (including theme park tickets booked at the same time as your holiday). You can use this voucher to book any TUI holiday currently on sale up to 31 October 2021.
Receive a full refund
You also have the option to simply cancel your booking and we will automatically refund you the amount you’ve paid for your holiday

Just had the same email.
I’m Pretty disgusted that they’ve offered everyone who’s already been cancelled the 20% rebooking incentive. I wait patiently and get given a 10% incentive, and yet they’ve inflated prices for next year.
Sorry TUI, you’ve lost my business. I’d rather spend more and go with alternative agents.

Same email received. What’s sad is i was not doing Disney. I had no intention going and just Universal and staying with Universal which is all open.
It should be my decision if have a reduced experience or not.

When the boarders re open I will be taking my business elsewhere.

@grinner82 please can I ask when you were going and if it was package or flight only?

Sorry it’s not the outcome you wanted. You never know, things may be better by then and you can pick up a bargain last minute flight.

Yes. As it's TUI that have cancelled the holiday, then you are entitled to a full refund of any monies paid.

Just called TUI, we are flights only and I asked "has my flight to Florida been cancelled" and the lady just said that it wasn't but I can reschedule.

She didn't even ask for my account details or when our flight was.

I got through really quickly though, but I am going to try again in a morning as you usually get an onshore advisor then. The offshore team is lovely but I don't think they get the context of the situation as well.

There seems to be a lot of confusion over flights or holidays, so I hope TUI clears it up.

I’ld hazard a guess it’ll be ALL flights to Florida. Not everyone books onto a Disney centred holiday. I think TUI are looking at all aspects and forecasting when then think it will be a reasonable time to recommence flights.
