Our flights are on the 4th Sept with BA and we haven't heard anything yet. We have cancelled the rest of the trip so just waiting to get that sorted now. Hope everyone gets some more info soon

But have decided we don't want to go, so if it's not cancelled we'll lose £1,600.00.

It's a lot of money but it would cost us another £4,000 for a holiday we really don't want.

So fingers crossed for the BA cancellation email & sooner rather than later.
That's the day we are supposed to fly also and hope that BA cancel our flight as well

Obviously we don't know what will happen in the future, but at this moment in time the border between Canada and USA is closed to all non-essential travel. The earliest it will reopen is 21st July, although this date keeps getting pushed back.

Same goes for Mexico.

So, at the moment and for the next few weeks, you can't fly to Canada and then to the USA.

I think the voucher system is a great idea especially if you plan on going away again in the future but I don't think I'd want to accept as then it would tie me to using BA (which I don't mind doing but I like to keep my options open!)

I think I will accept the voucher as worst case scenario but might hold out longer to see if the flight gets cancelled!

Due to fly to Boston on 18th September. We are playing the waiting game too. Got to the stage where we just want our money back, it will be difficult to enjoy a holiday with restrictions in place. Come on BA cancel our flight please
