Foods you don't like...but for some reason keep buying!
It occurred to me this morning as I was cooking my Sunday fry up that I really need to stop buying mushrooms. I have them everytime I do a fried breakfast or spaghetti bolognese but I'm actually really not keen on them. I always leave them and they end up in the bin. OH hates them aswell. So why do I keep buying them? 🤔
Same with avocado. I'll buy one every now and then for a salad, put it on my plate then realise I actually don't like them. Anyone else do this or is it just me? 😂 |

I buy bags of leaves and nobody likes them but me, I put them on plates for a salad and they get thrown away! I love mushrooms

I do this with cherries. DH hates them, DD eats a few and I eat one. I see them instore and think how tasty they look and DD says she loves them (and she eats very little fruit) so I can’t resist. Then we take them home and always end up throwing some away (and I hate food waste 😔 )

Salad, I start off with good intentions to be healthier but after one meal of it off it goes in the bin.
Without having a huge portion of cheese on it I can't eat it even with all the lovely dressings you can buy. I'd rather have a plate full of veg. I will buy it though because DH loves salad 😃 |

I notice it’s all healthy food that we end up wasting, I’ve never thrown out chocolate or cake 😂

It's mainly condiments I buy and end up chucking before they get used up.

Posh olives , I like the idea of them and do tend to socially eat them , but normally I prefer peanuts with wine as a snack or crisps and never get the olives out !
I don’t buy them often but then get lured in by their poshness again ! |

Bananas. We like them as a family but don’t love them and more often that not the end in the bin.
