As last minute as it can get! Pre trip report October 2015

If any of you have read my trip report from August you'll be thinking 'he's booked to go again already? ' well what if I told you I hadn't just booked to go away but I'd booked to go THIS WEEKEND!

To put a long story short, my girlfriend (who is starting to get annoyed that I'm not taking her with me ) is on holiday with her family this week and I was at a loose end. Rather typically that led me to the eurostar site, and before I knew it I was on the phone to Avios using my points for a training to DLP.

Admittedly this will be a very quick visit as I have no leave left from work. I arrive about 2pm on Saturday and leave at 5pm Sunday but to be honest my only must dos are:

See all the Halloween stuff, I've never been there at this time of year.
Ride thunder mountain a few times before its down for a year. At least once in the dark!
Bid farewell to our retro version of Star Tours with one last ride.

Luckily I have an annual pass so will be able to use EMH on the Sunday which should help with doing some of the rides and be ready to run at rope drop! I'm probably going to skip the studios apart from ratatouille and tower of terror (if I get there at all).

Am I mad? Probably. Just how mad am I? I'll be able to tell you on Sunday!

Last minute? Well, yeah, but we can beat that...!

We booked a trip at 10am one Friday and were on the Eurostar 3pm the same day!

Still, yours is pretty impressive and I'm looking forward to reading it. Well done!
