We used uber for the 9 days after being onsite at disney for the first 5 nights. The only issue we had was that wifi could be hit and miss but the longest we waited was 6 minutes. We knew the car drivers name and car make and reg number and could watch the car approach on the app and we found it to be brilliant. We added up what we spent and there was not much difference in what it would have cost to hire a car. We used it several times a day sometimes from regal oaks. We went to universal, publix to get busch gardens coach, florida mall and back, return journey from walmart.Premium outlet mall and back, disney springs with luggage and then onto premium outlet mall before getting it to the airport. We liked not looking for a car space (handy on black friday)) or paying car park charges and we were dropped off right where we wanted to be.

We are going to use Uber too so it's reassuring to read that there haven't been many issues.

First time in Orlando on Saturday (from man). Cleared immigration pretty easily, 4 bags took a while (all at random intervals). Got outside, booked Uber XL, there in 5 mins, 43$ to RPR. Driver even provided bottled water and boiled sweets. Tip top. Planning on using Uber through out stay.
