On arrival, head down to the ground floor and to the magic express checkin.

There you tell them all about your bags and let them scan your bagage claim tickets you got at London on check in. Then get on the bus.

Disney then collect your bags from the carousel and deliver then to your room about 3 hours later.

I would expect to get your bags at 7pm if you use ME.

I never let then take our buggy but kept that along with important bags and just took them myself on the bus leaving the big suitcases to get hauled by Disney.
That's great thank you. We are flying from Manchester, where do you get the baggage claim ticket from? Is it a special ME one?
Is it easy to find the second carousel after customs in MCO, is it the same one we'd use if we were picking them up ourselves from second carousel but it's just Disney do it for us?
Basically this will stop is having to collect them and take them to me and to our room?

Sorry about the delay.

Its just the standard baggage stickers you get at check in from virgin or whomever that you show to disney ME desk..

its exactly the same belt as if you are doing the second drop yourself. Its simply that disney pick them from the 2nd carousel instead of you waiting around for it.

All very easy

If I was you I would do the second carousel and get a luggage porter to take you and your cases to the magical express. We have done this before, he allowed our toddler on his big trolley and we took a shortcut through the airport. At the other end as bell services to take care of your luggage. All so simple and your cases arrive to the hotel at the same time as you!

I think we probably will do this because id like to keep our stuff with us but it's nice to know we have the option if said toddler is fed up by then and we just want to get away.
Is there a charge for the porters or is it just a tip - or both? We've never done ME before but thought it might be a nice start to the holiday and we don't have to worry about getting lost (this is our 7th trip as a couple and we ALWAYS get lost?! ). Thanks!

To answer both questions - there is no charge for the porter but we tend to give $1 per bag. It is on the same floor but I am sure it's in the opposite side ie A rather than B hence the short cut! We have used the porters a lot and find them friendly and willing to wait for you ie if your last case comes off ages after the rest!

Fantastic. Thanks for the advice. Sorry for so many questions but where do we find the porters? Are they the ones that come up to you near the carousel?

Yes they are - we were weary at first as we thought they may be extortionate but all have said just pay what you want - all have been happy with $1 per bag.

Thank you. I've always been wary too thinking they don't actually work for airport and are like unlicensed taxi drivers! Good to know they are ok though
