Transfers from JFK to Manhatten
Hi All,
I'm looking for recommendations on transfers from JFK to our hotel in Time Square. Does any one have any and an indication for costs? Thanks

We pre-booked with Attraction Tickets Direct when we were there in March. It cost us £17 each way per person which I thought was very reasonable.

Have a look at NYCAirporter. They are $19 one way or $35 return. They drop off at Port Authority, Grand Central and Bryant Park (for Times Square...literally a couple of minutes walk) and pick up to return from JFK from Port Authority and Grand Central. We have used them lots and they are great. Big air-conditioned buses with free wifi.
You don't have to pre-book either, you can buy your ticket from the representative at the bus stop (just outside arrivals hall). Edited at 10:25 AM. |

Yes it's really easy to get a yellow cab .the line is marshalled and efficient. The price is fixed so no worry about being ripped off or getting a huge bill if stuck in traffic .
We did this last time but on Sunday we are going to use the air train to Jamaica and the the train to penn station which should be quicker and definitely cheaper |

Airtrain and subway are easy, quick and cheap.
Downside is you don't get that view of the Manhatton sky line for the first time as you approach. |
