New York hotels with more than one bed in a room

My daughter is currently taking her GCSEs and she's long wanted to go to New York.

As a surprise, I'm thinking of taking her in 3-4 weeks time when her exams, and end-of-school prom night, are all over. We'll get to spend a few days just as Dad-and-daughter and as we don't get too many of those - it should be great fun.

All my previous trips to New York have been "adult only" and, as such, my demands of a hotel have been slightly different.

Just scanning the usual hotel booking sites, most hotels seem to come with just the one bed in a room, which isn't what we want.

Interested to know of any hotels that people have stayed at where you had an Orlando-like two double beds in a room or, at a push, a bed with a sofa-bed.

Thanks!

Try putting 4 adults into your search criteria instead of two and most of the results will be two bed rooms.

Most hotels have a choice of 1x King or 2xQueen bed.

We stayed at Homewood Suites by Hilton midtown/Times Square. We had 2 queens and a sofa bed plus small kitchen area. 5 min max walk to Penn Station, Maddison square gardens. 10
Mins to Empire State, Macy’s and Times Square. We secured a good deal with BA. Also offers a complimentary breakfast which we took advantage of a couple of times.
