Hi there,
Just stumbling across your trip report there. Like ye I also have 2 girls. However 28 months & 8 months. I'm waiting for the right moment to bring them to the magic. Looking forward to reading your reports. Can I ask if you regret not bringing them earlier? Or do you think they were the perfect age. I'm just trying to decide when is a good time to bring my girls.

Hi Melybaby

For me, the girls were the perfect age at 4 and almost 6. They didn't get too tired and were able to walk around the parks all day. They were able to appreciate everything and have lots of wonderful memories that they are still talking about now. And they were big enough to go on lots of rides. We were happy that we didn't have to push strollers around the parks or worry about naps, feeding, nappy changing etc. But I know plenty of people (including on the Dibb) take younger children and have a great time

I've enjoyed reading your trip report! I would like to take my son to NY at some point (probably in 2017 for my 40th birthday treat) and he'll be 6.5 then so it's been good to read what you got up to with your girls

Thank you meandmyboy, glad you enjoyed my trippie. I can definitely recommend New York with children, there's so much to do. I found Frommers New York City With Kids was a great help for ideas. Sounds like a great 40th birthday treat

Loved reading your trip report we are doing the exact same next year but with 2 teenagers. You have giiven me some good ideas of places to eat in New York so thanks for that.
