Anyone booked and stayed here via travel republic.
Their website says no resort fee, can’t be true can it?

We are booked here via Virgin and no resort fees! One reasons picked it as they can add up.

With regards to resort fees, make sure you do a proper price comparison. If a hotel has a resort fee then the likelihood is that the it has just been bundled into the total price.

Hopefully it is a good deal based on their buying power but always best to check.

Also, always worth checking loyalty schemes as sometime resort fees are lower or even waived for members.
