Carribean beach downgrading room on arrival

Hi

We have had to book the pirate room in carribean beach resort for october as on uk site that was all that was available, I am going to keep checking but if we don't get to change the room is it possible to ask on arrival for a 5th sleeper room instead?

Anyone had any luck changing room types on arrival?

Well of course you can ask. But it is all going to depend on availability and nobody can know that. If you need a room for five though, you really need to book a room for five. I would not be leaving that to chance.

Thanks for the reply its not really the room for 5 there are only 4 of us just the folded bed as kids are already arguing

I imagine that is there is availability then they will do it but knowing hotels, they may possibly charge whether you upgrade or downgrade... its a chance to make some more money.

Ask the kids to draw straws on who sleeps where and then they have to accept that its all fair

Yes have tried to call but no availability will keep checking fingers crossed but they have told me to contact the hotel a week before I arrive a d they may be able to help

You could try e-mailing CBR and asking them if they would do it if there was availability.
Also, if your children really don’t want to share, maybe take an air bed or buy one out there just incase there aren’t any 5th sleepers available. 😊

Can one of you sleep with each child they dont have to sleep together

We swapped from All Star Sports to Caribbean Beach when the 5th sleeper for August became available. This was just before Xmas and we booked the holiday in September. Every other year we have shared a bed with the kids, me & dd in one and dh & ds in another. Never an issue.
