They're both lovely names but I preferred Martha Cooke when the middle names are removed. I'm sure whatever name you decide to choose will be perfect.

I was drawn to the initials (my ex husband’s mother remarried and changed his surname so at age 7 he became a CAB ) . You always need to check with a vowel middle initial it doesn’t spell anything you might not be happy with

I like both, but Martha Cooke sounds better than Cora Cooke to me
(I like Martha as I always wanted to be called Marsha as a little child!?! It was always my pretend name! cannot remember why I chose this particular name though )

It looks like Martha is a clear winner here, the best way to decide ,is a way that an old friend told me years ago.
Now that Martha is the winner, do you feel happy or slightly disappointed? If you feel disappointed then you should choose Cora, as that's what you really want. I apply this to most dilemmas and it usually is the right choice. |

Two of my mums sisters were Martha and Agnes.
I like Martha best and it’s goes better with Cook. Not so keen on the Agnes or Rose.

When I was little I thought all my mums sisters had weird names but they are all popular again.
My mum is Amy her sisters were Martha, Ruby, Agnes, Jeannie and Annie !
