26 hours in Disney - Aug 2018 - travel day

Ok so it ended up being 34 hours in Disney with extra night but never mind.

Travel day started like any other day for me. Off to work... the morning went pretty quick because I was busy but that afternoon bit dragged.
D picked me from work at 3 pm
and we drove the 25 mins to Preston train station parked up and got the train to London Euston.

The train journey passed pretty quick for me as I’d just picked up a new book and read that (and almost finished it ) the whole way down.

We got to Euston and made the quick 5 min walk to St Pancras via McDonald’s for D .

Eurostar check in was quick and easy and we were setting off bang on time at 8pm. Again I read my book (actually finished it) D watched some mob series and we arrived at Gare du Nord around 11pm. Now we’ve been here before but seriously it’s a nightmare coming out of here at night time. We once did a bus tour of Paris and passed the area and the guide warned everyone not to walk down here at night ... oooops But we kept our heads down, didn’t make eye contact and we arrived at our hotel exactly 2 mins later, luckily it’s literaly across the road.

We stayed at the hotel Vielle a small but clean and really handy hotel , it even had a balcony ( not that we were going out there tonight) I’d really recommend it for somewhere cheap but clean location wise it’s great. Sorry no pics it was pitch black and no way I was getting phone out round here.

Straight to bed ready for an early start tomorrow alarm set for 6:15.
