Ideas for New Years Eve?

Hi

Not been on here for a while but we're getting close to our next trip! We fly out on 27th December for 3 weeks & we can't wait. There are 10 of us travelling together including 4 kids under age of 10.

Looking for ideas for things to do on New Year's Eve. We're staying on International Drive & want to avoid parks at night but still want to do something memorable for the kids.

Has anyone been at this time of year & have any recommendations?

Can you splurge and get a night on site at WDW for New Year's Eve? There will be lots to do on site without entering a park. That way if the little ones get tired, they can go and sleep.

Legoland has a special child friendly countdown ton New Year, at eight o'clock! It is a good fireworks show and the park is not too busy.

We did that last NYE..it was fantastic.

We are staying at the Holiday Inn Disney Springs for NYE, so we can walk back from DS. Never been at this time of year before - we�ve heard DS is fun for NYE.
