DCL - Do things really book up fast?
I am booked on a 6-night Fantasy cruise, It is our first Disney cruise and I have been reading online that things book up fast and if you are not Gold it is hard to get anything.
I definitely want to book the frozen and princess gathering, as well as 2 port excursions, and mother & teen beauty treatment and I am now getting worried I will have spent so much money and not get what I want? |

You will be fine with what you want to book, frozen gatherings if fully booked you can get at guest services when boarding, never had a problem with booking excursions, in Aug just gone they had plenty of availability on the treatment rooms, days at sea can get booked up quick, again if fully booked on line go direct to the treatment room and see what availability they have, I am a gold member and one thing I have never been able to reserve is a cabana, not that I want one at that price anyway.

Agree with previous poster. Unless you are after a cabana or a specific time of something then usually you are OK. Some of the pirate night bibbidibobidi do book up quickly and some of the speciality dining but you should be OK I feel. Also they do hold back some availability to when you are onboard for those that don't get a chance to book online so its always worth asking when you get onboard as well if you do have problems.

We are going on the Fantasy two weeks tomorrow, and it’s our first cruise. We’ve managed to book everything we wanted except for the Palo brunch. We’re going to try to get a reservation for that once we’re onboard. My tip is to get up early on the day your reservations open (5am UK time, I think).

We had no trouble booking on check in day or on board for Palo Brunch on any of the cruises except for Alaska. Even in Alaska we got a port day and managed to change it to a sea day on board.
The tip is to find out where they are booking as soon as you get on board and go there. There will be groups of people booking and changing different things, restaurant bookings, dining rotations etc. and cast members with laptops. It is all pretty easy just be patient, we know you will want to get going and explore the ship but Palo brunch is worth it!
