We always hum and haw about taking them out and avoid if we can though we figure that as we both work full time sometimes Having time all together is more important and it means a couple of days off school. This time they are missing the last half day and the first full day back.

We just have to power through the jet lag when we get home, though doesn’t seem to affect the kids like us!

have a fab time, yes always hard to know about taking time out my dd first year high school so this trip may be the only one we can take her out.look forward to reading about your trip.
