And on another browser tab I have open right now, mulling where to stay next year, the Beach Club is cheaper than the Swan/Dolphin for 10 nights in August.
Oo really need to have a proper look...

I’ve stayed at Dolphin, we had a week there in June. We are DVC members but didn’t have any points left! The location for Dolphin is fantastic and when we were booking was much cheaper than paying for a cash booking at the Epcot resorts. We were on the 17th floor and had firework views from our room. As a base we found it great and would definitely stay there again. You can’t use your magic bands for charging or opening your room and it’s not Disney themed but we really enjoyed it.

Thank you... it doesn’t look too far to walk either to the Boardwalk. Have you stayed in the swan? Can you use the Magical Express do you know?
TIA

It’s an easy walk to the boardwalk, 5 mins and we also walked to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. We’ve only stayed Dolphin side. You can’t use the Magical Express so you would need alternative transport from the airport.
