I have just checked the existing menu on MDE and the future one as well.

Sadly the existing menu has been tinkered with and not to our liking so we wont be dining there next month which is sad as we always liked this place in the fall. Hey ho plenty of other places to go.

With regards to the new menu it does seem somewhat lean on entree choices. However we wouldn't go there anyhow as characters aren't for us albeit brilliant for others.

I give it 6 months before it becomes a normal restaurant again.

I am gutted, I never got to dine here and now they have changed it and I personally dont like the new concept or menu (sorry!) am hoping it reverts back before we go again. Lesson learnt not to put things off!

Louise. To us it was a hidden gem. For years it was rammed and was as hard to get an ADR in as the Cali.
Then the numbers plumeted for some reason but the food was still excellent.

We loved it for the Spring and Fall menu, not so much the Summer one.

Children will love the new concept. However I like to dine without a Dwarf bothering me.

We loved Artist Point in 2010, it was one of our favourites.

From l8stening to various WDW podcasts, it’s all down to money. The restaurant wasn’t making money, and characters are a sure draw. Easy as that.

Personally I think it is sad for a deluxe not to have a Signature restaurant and it might even put us off staying there (which has been a dream of ours). We like a quiet relaxing restaurant, and both WL options will now be anything but.

Shame, I won’t want to go now. I’m not interested in character dining but I was looking forward to this restaurant. Not any more. I understand the decision though.

The menu isn't particularly solo visitor friendly.

We are staying at WL at this moment and managed to get a reservation on the last night before it closed for renovations and really enjoyed our dinner.. The restaurant is now closed and I hope it does ok but I’m sure many people will be sad by this decision
