Universal Annual Passes

We upgraded 2, 3park 14 day to 2, 3 park ap. We got one preferred 3 park which comes with free parking and 20% off on site hotel bookings and one seasonal just for entry as we don't require 2 passes for the discounts etc.
This cost us 200 bucks exactly this October. We thought this a bargain as we go every year and use the hotels for a couple of nights.

We ended up upgrading ours at US Guest services, although the price was the same as quoted in the HRH lobby. We done ours last Weds, 17th.

It was $170 for a Preferred AP and $130 for a Power Pass AP (approx, can't remember the exact figures) both of those are 3 park passes as we'd already been to VB so couldn't do a 2 park upgrade - although it was offered until she realised we'd already been to VB. That was upgrading from the Universal 3 Park Explorer tickets - the upgrade prices are based on the original cost of your passes which you hold, so not all prices quoted on the forums will be like for like.

Hopefully on top of the savings from the regular passes we'd buy when going to Universal next year, we'll save a bit extra using the AP discount for the HRH stay too.
