Socofy advert on the Dibb

Does anyone else get this advert in a banner near the top of the forums? I bought myself a pair of shoes from there which I love. I was hesitant as I have always had very difficult feet to fit. But the only thing I had to do was to buy a pair of padded leather heels (like insoles) and they are a good fit.

Have you ever bought anything through an advert?

The adverts are personalised and are based on websites you have visited or shown an interest in - or that the algorithms "think" you might be interested in.
Currently, I'm also seeing Seaworld/Busch Gardens and also Manchester Airport Meet & Greet Parking.
On a side note, I purchased a pair of sandals from Socofy and I loved them. The sole was so well cushioned and they were surprisingly good quality. I didn't have high expectations - just thought it would probably be cheap tack!

Mine is Seaworld and I have never looked at it or even considered it. I am strictly Universal or Disney.

Thankfully, I have adblock installed so don't see many adverts at all.

Adverts are not based on what you buy but what you look at, more specifically they are based on what you look at against what the Advertisers set up as key words for them.

So OP was seeing the Scofoy as they likely were googling and looking at whilst researching.

People seeing Busch/Seaworld are seeing them because the advertisers have likely designed them so that if you're looking at anything in Orlando or Disney or Universal or any combination of that they'll pop up. Wouldn't matter if you looked at Disney, Universal even MCO, Villas or Car Hire. All that matters is what you are looking at matches the rules they set up against the ad.

That is a good explanation, thank you.
