No. That was the cost for year 5 only. The increase is $1 per hour each year over 5 years. So each year is cumulative. Based on today the cost of the rise each year is an extra:

Year 1. $67m
Year 2. $134m
Year 3. $201m
Year 4. $268m
Year 5. $330m

Total 5 year cost almost $1bn.

But a lot of those employees will not be working 8 hour days, they'll be part time.

4hr days would still be $1/2bn.

Point is increased costs are nearly always passed onto the consumer.

Absolutely, and I expect twice annual parking charge increases to continue, along with all the other usual increases, as Disney claw back the extra costs and cash in on the popularity of the park improvements.
The US economy is doing well so they will expect the market to bear it.

On the plus side at least they are investing serious money back into the parks. Lots of new stuff coming from rides, hotels, transport etc.

With Star Wars they'll likely be full for a good few years to come, no matter the price.

Thanks

The reason they don't make Paris any bigger is cause they don't want to loose the trade to them...
We can all moan but most of us will still keep going...

They've already announced massive expansion of the studios in paris, adding both star wars and frozen lands among other additions

Once the US economy takes a downturn, things will start to stall..until then the costs inside and outside the parks will increase.

The bubble always burst, it's just a matter of when and how long it will last.

Standard parking: car or motorcycle – Now $25 per day, up from $22
Oversized Vehicle Parking: Shuttle, Limo, Camper Trailer, RV, Bus or Tractor Trailer - Now $30 per day, up from $27

Registered Guests of Disney Resort Hotels, select Annual Passholders, Premium Passholders and Disney Premier Passport holders continue to receive complimentary standard self-parking at Disney theme parks.
Hi,
I thought with your wealth of info you would be able to answer this one for me as I can't seem to find it on here.. So resort parking?.. Is this now chargeable for UK guests?.. How much us it per day? And as DVC members and probably AP holders next year will this fees still effect us for next year and going forward?
Thanks
