Better late than never!
With regards to packing cubes, it can depend on what you might find helpful for your type of trip. For our Californian trip, I mainly split them into one with evening trousers, one with evening tops, one one for daytime tops and one for daytime shorts/cropped trousers. These were all fairly large packing cubes. I used the smaller ones for other things, such as underwear, a shared one for both mine and DH’s swimwear (this included pool t-shirts/cover ups etc). This year, I’ve used them slightly differently as I wanted to use them to store the clothes we’d need for the first few days of our holiday. I used two large ones - one for daytime and one for the evening clothes. DH had two similar ones. We then had a smaller one for our joint underwear. This meant we only had to open just one of our cases in our first hotel of the trip. We occasionally use small ones for various charging cables etc or toiletries. Everything else we take gets slotted around the case, eg. Shoes. DH and I use them in different ways - as you can see I roll my clothes, but DH folds his clothes, then lays them in flat. For road trips, they really are invaluable, but I use them on single destination trips too as I like how quick it makes unpacking. The set I’ve got also came with a strong laundry bag too which was very useful. The only thing I’d add is you get what you pay for. I bought some cheap ones from eBay first, and the zips broke within a couple of weeks of use. They were too small to be of much use either. These ones were from Amazon were great and I bought a second set for this year, so DH has a full set too. It’s really not a good idea to leave your glasses in the car to avoid carrying the cases! It makes you not very popular with your wife. The Hilton is walkable to the parks, or you can use the Disney buses from the car park opposite. There are lots of other hotels a bit closer to the gate though, which is helpful after a long day at the parks.
