Cheese and jam sandwich

My dad really enjoys a cheese and jam sandwich. Anyone else like them or even tried them? Or like us do you think it's a bit weird?

I’ve never tried it but it was one of my granddads favourites, that & cheese & apple, I kind of like sweet & savoury together like cheese & some sweet pickle but jam is going too much for me

Something my Dad used to love and we all still enjoy cheese with Christmas cake. Is that a Yorkshire thing?

Yes - either cheese and strawberry jam or cheese and orange marmelade. Yum!

And my husband and son didn't believe me when I told them that people other than my Dad eat them. I might see if I can persuade them to try one tomorrow.

I never realised Ryvita with strawberry jam and cheese was weird until I saw a bemused customer watching me in BHS café. Yorkshire habit again, along with cheese and apple pie or Christmas cake
