Both my parents (Welsh) love a cheese and jam sandwich, my Dad even puts spring onions in his, however my Mum used to give them to me in my school lunch box and I hated them!

Mum would never listen to my wailings about how I hated them and to this day acts surprised about my intense dislike of them.

The words "ych y fi" spring to mind!

I love cheese and jam, my DH thinks I'm insane! My brother eats it toasted, ie cheese on toast with the jam under it, have to be careful when its hot though! I also love cheese on a hot cross bun...

Yes my DH always used to have Cheese and Jam sandwiches.

My dad loved apple pie and cheese and also Christmas cake with cheese.

We also used to have Yorkshire puds with golden syrup or jam as children.

Yes we are also from Yorkshire

I’m from Devon and I like cheese and jam sandwiches - I know other people here would think it peculiar-but I think it’s much the same as Brie and cranberry and that’s ever so common - other people are weird I say! 😂

Cheese and jam is a very good sandwich. I now prefer to put jam (more specifically strawberry or raspberry jam) on toast and have some slices cheese on it ( no grilling, that would be yuk) .

My husband always thought I was mad but now he can see the appeal. Even one of my children likes it.

I'm not really sure if it's a regional thing. I'm Scottish but have also lived in Yorkshire and I'm now in Bedfordshire.

I will now throw in a crisp and silverskin pickled onion sandwich as a good one to try

Wheat spelt and rye bread with butter, mature cheddar and strawberry rhubarb jam!
Not that I'm fussy. 😂😂😂
