A DAS query?

This query is applicable for all the theme parks. We've gone into a ride using DAS or similar. My daughter who will have the DAS pass has been known to change her mind just before getting on a ride! I'm talking actually about to get on! If I escort her out would my wife and other daughter be ok to ride or would they have to leave as well?(which is fine, I'm just not sure the rules on this one)

Interesting question and I don't know the answer, but I'd be really, really, really surprised if they would stop your wife and DD riding. As far as I know they wouldn't even know you had used a DAS at that stage, don't you just go back in through the FP+ line? Surely it would be like anyone taking the chicken exit on a ride?
Sure it will be fine

This only happened to us the once and they did allow my OH and my eldest daughter to ride still whilst I did the walk of shame through the crowd to go back out with a very upset little girl. This was on toy story midway mania and lilly was so looking forward to it but when push came to shove she just couldn't get on, CM was fantastic told her what to expect, even showed her the ride monitor so she could see what was inside but at last minute she bottled it. CM came after us when we got outside, gave me a hug cos I was visibly upset too and gave us paper fast passes to go back on that or another ride if daughter changed her mind.
It was the only time that happened though so don't know if it does happen or I was just lucky.

Thanks I know the DAS holder must be present to ride but wasn't sure about this situation.

Happened to us too once on Everest: we were on the loading platform when DS just decided he was having none of it. We assumed that meant we couldn't go on and asked how to get out of the load area, but the CM said DH and DD could ride while I exited with distressed son.

Happened to us at rnrc. They let us do a rider switch. I waited with DS while the rest of the party rode, then me and my brother in law rode it.

while the person who qualifies for das must technically ride that only really applies at entry to the fastpass lane as you all need to scan your bands but once your in the queue there is no way for them to tell who entered using das or fastpass its just one queue so if you go to the end and they decided not to ride then you can just take the exit while the rest of your party ride.
My ds has an awful habit of really wanting to ride then bottling it at the last minute even after actually getting into the seat before meaning I've had to exit with him on many occasions but its never been an issue for the rest of them to ride without us.
