I'd actually be really interested to see the results of a school thread...

Surely it depends on the service you receive. For example we were in Spain at the weekend had a lovely meal, were about to leave a good tip circa 20% then the waitress is heard making comments about my two year old granddaughter playing near the door so her tip was halved as the comments were totally unjustified. She had been very well behaved and was just playing as we were ready to leave and was moved out of the way straight away by me.

I appreciate that your tip might vary if you have poor or even exceptional service, so the poll is based on your normal tip for okay service in a sit down restaurant (not a buffet).
Perhaps MH will run a different poll for buffet restaurants?

Select the option that best reflects your normal tip for "okay" service.

Voted 15%. Mind you it’s 4 years since I visited and that was the norm then. Sounds a bit different nowadays though.

Not bothered who knows, I always tip 18% in the situation mentioned in the original post.

Nimbus***** edit*** I mean Mickey House I am very disappointed, you didn't list 27% after tax or 'a straight $50 if feeling generous', so I am unable to vote at all.

Mean average of 16.75%? That is erm.. mean.

I had better watch out or I'll have the Disney cast member sending me PMs again (I hasten to add it was on Facebook, not the British CMs who appear on here).
