Help. cruise itinerary changed last minute.

Just found out tonight. Due to hurricane Florence our cruise to Bermuda has been changed. The first stop now is Port Canaveral. What is there to do around that area as we dont want to go to Orlando or the Space center.

Hi Stecee! We are just back from a cruise out of NYC! Its always a risk of any cruise that you wont make it to the places that you intend, something I have learned over the years and just accept now, but can be frustrating if you book specifically for that place or make arrangements...

Sometimes a day on the ship when everyone has got off is wonderful in itself, like a private yacht!
Pick your spot by the pool, and relax.

Am sure other dibbers will have suggestions of what to do in the area. Have a wonderful cruise

You must be the first dibber to not want an unscheduled visit to Orlando 😀 . Saying that I hope you get sorted and find something to do that day. As suggested a day on the ship could be very relaxing.

I love Florida and especially Orlando, but there’s no time to prepare. I think we are probably going to either stay around the Cocoa beach area or if the cruise shuttle is reasonable ( they never are) go to Citywalk. it will be hard to not go little further south and visit the mouse though.

Oh I would be so tempted to get off and got to Orlando, but I would probably not make it back to the boat! I would stay on the boat and enjoy the peace as we are not beach people. I would be tempted to hit a mall just because they were close!
