We paid £1400 for 2 adults. We could have had a suite at SL for less with all the perks but I've always wanted to do DLH. Christmas season seemed the perfect time. We managed to get Eurostar tickets for £58 return each via Paris so thought we'd treat ourselves with the money we saved on travel.

You won’t regret it but I earn you it’s hsrd to go back. I stayed st dhl several times and then booked sequoialodge golden forest this summer. Perks were great but you can’t beat dhl- I dropped in on my last day for a drink - it was like going home . Am now booking a second trip to dhl . You can’t beat being back in your room 5 minutes after fireworks or parades

Yes, it’s lovely and the location can’t be beaten.

However, we have stayed at all the hotels except New York now, and in all honesty we are perfectly happy with the cheapest. Our next trip we are at the Cheyenne and it is costing us under £700 with half board. I can’t justify paying more than that when we are saving for a big holiday.
