Train from CDG to DLP
Is the info on the fast train in the sticky still current? I would rather get a train than a road transfer if possible.
Its just two adults and small cases and usually use public transport on city breaks. What is the best way to book it and how much are we talking in May? Also, the flights we are looking at departs at 10pm from CDG so would be able to get a train back as well or would a transfer be best in this instance? Never been before so no idea what is best! Thanks! |

You can book your tickets for a specific train - however for arrival that can prove tricky as it is difficult to estimate how long it will take to leave the plane and clear immigration, customs, baggage claim etc and if you miss the train you would need to buy a new ticket anyway.
For the return journey it is easier to predict when you will arrive at the station so you can pre-book the train to save a few euros. You can have a look at train times and book tickets here: en.oui.sncf/en/ |

For us (2 adults one way) the cheapest way was RS Transports. It was 38 Euros total, cheaper than the ‘magical shuttle’ coach or the TGV.

Thank you both, lots to think about. How long do transfers take on average? If this is easier and cheaper we may consider it.

About 40 minutes from meeting you in arrivals to artiving at your hotel.
The train journey itself is only 10 minutes, but you may have to get to a different terminal first, and then walk from the station to your hotel (assuming onsite). No brainer for me.
