whats happened to soarin!

Hi all,just got back from the land of fun,another fab time,we done just the disney parks this time so we intended to stay at each park from morning to evening,magic kingdom was first up,really enjoyed and the fireworks were awesome.Next up was animal kingdom another great day out then a chill out for the next 2 days to recharge the batteries so looking forward to epcot..oh dear what have they done to soarin,we were looking forward to "flying over"the orange groves of carlifonia and "smell" the oranges well that is no more, and when we flew over the eifel tower it was bent like a bananna! then we made our way to the lands,the wife was looking forward to Norway to go on the" frozen" ride,well after waiting in line for an hour thats an hour of my life i"ll never get back,on we went to the American adventure! less said about that the better! i said to the wife i need a drink after that so we headed to the rose and crown for a nice cold pint of strongbow £8 a pint! . I had another one to get over the shock of the price! All in all a fab time just wished they didnt mess with soarin.

You need to sit in the centre if you want a non bendy view, this was an issue with the previous film too.

Gosh have they still not sorted this out? We complained last time when we saw the bendy version two years ago and they said it was being fixed, and let us go on again in the centre section. Can't believe they haven't corrected it yet two years later.

Nothing they can do to correct it, its down to the curved screen being viewed from a wide range of angles.

Personally, I was more disappointed by the fact that so much of it is CGI.

I could never understand the comments about the distortion until we were in the bottom row on right hand side, and experienced the bendy Eiffel Tower for ourselves. Most peculiar!

I love the american adventure - all personal taste I guess.

They have even changed the ride in Disney California! I was surprised that they never stuck with the brilliant original here of all places! I really missed the golf ball and the Aircraft Carrier. (USS John C Stennis).
