Mobile Disney and universal tickets - first use

I have noticed it says on the first use photo id is required. Do we really need to carry our passports with us the first day?

Do you have real tickets or print outs to collect tickets
I've never known them ask for photo ID with real tickets
We are here now and used our Disney and Universal tickets and just had to give a finger print which they check each time you use them

We have real tickets but just noticed it in the back of the universal tickets. Fingerprint should be enough then, thanks!

With real tickets, I've never been asked for photo ID at Disney or Universal. It is highly unlikely you'll need photo ID, however I suppose Disney/Universal could potentially ask to see it (however, that tends to be when there's a problem with the ticket or fingerprint).

When we once had vouchers to exchange for real tickets, we were asked for photo ID then. So definitely take photo ID with you if you have vouchers.
