Victoria and Alberts
Hi
I have managed to book a table at V&A’s (main dining room) for our trip in November – we have previously eaten in the Queen Victoria Room a couple of years ago, so I kind of know what to expect, however I have a few questions if anyone can help... Can anyone advise of the cost and how many courses there will be in the dining room as opposed to the QVR– For some reason I think it is less than the QVR? My other question is, hubby is now almost a vegetarian – he will still eat meat and fish but it is getting less and less by the week, has anyone had the vegetarian menu and if so, how did they find it again what is the cost of this. Are there any links to this menu? Thank you Edited at 12:03 AM. |

Last time we were there (May this year) the pricing was
7-course $185, 10-course $235, Queen Victoria’s Room $235 but things change and they did tell me they were going to move everyone onto the 10 course menu. The 10 course is very similar to the QV room except for the interactive bits at your table in the QV room (tbh we prefer the main dining room) vegetarian menu victoria-alberts/pdf/...08-06-2018.pdf but the menus change so often that honestly, you never REALLY know until you get there |

Thank you,
He doesn't know I've booked this, so lets hope he will go with the main menu when we come to confirming, as its much better value |

If you tell the restaurant in advance that you don't eat particular food (I told them no mushrooms or shellfish for example) they will prepare a special menu for you.
As with any fine dining restaurant the menu will constantly change so sample menus are just that - samples. |

It is one I would look to book promptly, you should be ok at 180 +10 but it can be hard at 180 I have found. I booked it for our next trip but then researched prices, which seemed to be much much higher than those mentioned in this thread so I cancelled as it was not a special occasion.
