Hi guys,

Which hotels is it that offer the free pass? Does Aventura and cabana bay or endless summer?

Thanks

Yes that is correct, all universal hotels offer the early morning hour at one of the parks.

All of the hotels have free buses to the parks. You can walk there too (although it takes a while from some) from most (not Endless Summer and probably not Aventura). Cabana Bay has its own entrance to Volcano Bay and is a very easy walk. Keep in mind Endless Summer is offsite on IDrive.

Royal Pacific, Sapphire Falls, Hard Rock and Portofino also have a water taxi to citywalk, which is 100% the best way to get around!

I believe whichever Universal hotel you stay at you get the early hour entry. However only the most expensive three (Portofino, Hard Rock and Royal Pacific) include the Express Pass (jumping to the front of the queue on rides). If you stay at the others and want the Express Pass you have to pay for it.

I've heard that if you book 1 night in Hard Rock hotel there's a way to get 2 days express pass. Apparently you can check in at 7 am on your day of arrival ( the website states 4pm) and then get the next day too. Have I been advised wrong

You are correct. The FOLP will run from early entry on the day you check in to park close on the day you check out.

5 in a room (with a rollaway) is much cheaper than 5 X 2 day Express passes. FOLP are ride as many times as you like. Express passes are 2 tier. 1 go per ride / many goes per ride.

Have a look on the universal website to see how much the express passes are for the day you wish to travel. Combined with the busy day guide it will be an indication of how much additional value you will get from using it. Obvs the busier universal think the parks will be the more they put the express passes up too.

Unfortunately HRH , RPR and Portofino Bay tend to do the same !
