we have a quality cool box ( its a Igloo extreme ) and freeze a Ice pack and pack stuff in that ( you could always get ice from the hotel either put in a " ziplock bag " or even a empty bottle of " powerade " ( it has a wide opening ) and it in the suitcase in the boot of the car all day and still frozen when we got home ( 24 hours on )

We usually leave our suitcases in the car all day on the last day and I’d never risk leaving chocolate in them. As a result we don’t bring chocolate home which is a shame. I’m sure it would melt in the summer if left in car!

OK, so thanks for the advice, left the choc in the middle of a case, checked cases in at Disney Springs at about 10:30, and then shoved the choc in the fridge as soon as we were home about 10:30 am (UK time) next day. Just checked and it all seems to have survived OK .
Sad to be home though... |

I’m too late to the party but wanted to say if you’re staying at Disney they have a fridge you can leave stuff in. We stopped at the supermarket on our way to beach club and our room wasn’t ready. I mentioned I had bags of stuff for the fridge that would ruin in the car and was told no problem bring it in and we will pop it in our fridge. No different from them holding on to your luggage.
