Mobile Customs form questions

Hi all,
So we're off next week and suddenly realised I have a question.
I know this has probably been asked a thousand times... The little Robinsons water flavor things, do I need to declare them on the customs form? I didn't last time as I'd forgotten I had them and there wasn't a problem, just wonder if I should have mentioned them?
Also want to take something ie fruit shoot and sweets/crisps for the kids in the hand luggage for the kids while we're waiting when we get off the plane. Do I put this on the form or just mention it at customs as it will probably be eaten while we're still in the queue.
Silly things to worry about I know, just don't want any hold ups.

Thanks

Oh right 🤭 so what do I do about the food and drink? Do they just ask what you have when you go through?

If the machines are working you can declare it on there if you want to! If the machines arnt working you could stop as you walk through customs but I wouldn't bother! We never declare anything that isn't meat or dairy which we never take!

I think it depends on where you fly to

We filled one out yesterday flying into ewr

I declared yes to plants etc as we had cereal and chocolate but the immigration or customs officer didn’t ask

I have declared those things before and they are fine, it’s actual fruits and meet they don’t like not processed versions

I've just seen a post saying that the kiosks have been removed

Flew in September and still had to complete a customs from. Maybe it depends on who you fly with and where you are landing.

Have flown into JFK and Boston Logan this year and no custom forms to fill in. In fact in Boston we walk off the plane and straight to a desk. Few questions and we were off to pick up the car.

We went with United into New York and had to fill out a form on the plane and hand it in on arrival. That's strange some are getting cards and others aren't.
