Universal - Annual Pass - Start Date

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone could confirm.

If I purchase an annual pass on their website will the pass start from the day I order it or the day it is first used ?

Thanks in advance

So if I bought the deal with the extra 15 months, I can not start using it until June this year... is that correct?

Thank you for the replies.

Does anyone know if I purchase a 3 park 14 day ticket instead and then upgrade that at the park to a 2 park annual ticket (I believe at no additional cost), would that also get me the 3 free months ?

Thanks. I thought that was only if you had used the pass already at Volcano Bay, they wouldn't then allow you to go to the 2 park ticket (as you have already visited the 3rd park) ?

Reading the other thread I think it depends what cast member. I’m too wanting to upgrade. Trying to work out if it’s better just to by the 2 park so I’m not forced to get the 3 park AP. What I’m not sure about is whether the 3 park is worth more money when you upgrade...

I don't understand your question?

You have to activate it by 4 April 2019 and get 15 months from the start date.

As others have said it depends. WE went at the end of September and were told point blank the new policy was a 3 park had to be upgraded to a 3 park annual - no exceptions. Others have been able to get it as a 2 park. We hadn't been to Volcano Bay (actually hadn't been to any park yet) so I wouldn't guarantee you will be able to downgrade the number of parks. As it was it was only $60 I think to upgrade so I didn't mind so much. As long as we go once next year I will be happy with that
