Krakow Old Town Restaurant & Bar Recommendations
Hi, we are off to Krakow next week end, staying in Old Town Square. We have our trips/tours etc booked. Just looking for some recommendations of where to spend our evenings. We prefer to stay in and around the Old Town, just somewhere nice to chill, we like being outside (with heaters ) or maybe some live music for mid-forty's couple.
Thanks |

Thanks just had a look, a couple of those restaurants (Sioux & Piano Rouge) that were mentioned on your thread I have seen while looking on google maps so good to see them recommended.
We go Friday and really looking forward to it, not long 'til you go also, enjoy! Thanks again |

Our favourite city break .
There are so many lovely places to eat and you won’t go wrong near the square but you will find cheaper offerings a street or two back. One of our favourites is Miod Malena which is right next to the Pandora shop - on the way to Wawel castle from square. Also, a lovely Italian is Corleone (if you go up the street between pandora and Miod Malena it’s on the right). There is also a really popular small restaurant attached to the Wawel hotel (again up the same street but on the left). I can’t remember the name of it but it’s something duck I think 🤔. The only rubbish meal we’ve had in six trips was at Sioux (Mexican on the square). You’ll be spoilt for choice and ask the locals for recommendations! |

We had two lovely Italian meals. Boscaiola is absolutely gorgeous inside. We were sat in a cellar type area with a beautiful fire and Christmas tree in December. The food was outrageously good. We had a huge (and tasty!) Pizza in Virtuoso. The pasta didn't look as good here but the pizzas were well worth it!

If you are looking for a local cheap bar, you can’t go past Bania Luka. They have 2 bars, literally just off the main square. Beer and vodka shots under £1. If you want to try some local food without spending a fortune, they do great snacks too. There a few seats outside one of them for sitting in the sun. Have fun. Our favourite European city 😀

Thanks a lot, we go tomorrow. I'm saving these recommendations to decide where we want to eat, depending on what area we are in.
